Fluvius wanted to further digitise its operational processes and file tracking and integrate them with the existing infrastructure. Together with Obycron, Odoo was implemented in the department for local solar production and grid transition.
The turnaround time for files decreased by almost 50%, while repetitive tasks such as email communication, reminders and appointment management were largely automated. Employees now work more efficiently thanks to Project Management, Appointment Management, Time Registration and Calendar Management.
A comprehensive customer portal centralises documents and approvals, giving partners and customers direct access to their files and making collaboration more transparent.
Fluvius chose Odoo as a flexible solution with fast time-to-value, easy to combine with existing systems and easily adaptable – a big difference from what they were used to in the past. The initial rollout was so successful that other departments quickly followed suit.
The environment is integrated with SAP and currently runs in a modern Azure setup, which further enhances scalability and reliability.
