What is PEPPOL – and why is it important?
PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement On-Line) is a secure and standardised network that allows businesses and governments to exchange electronic documents – such as invoices – with each other. In Belgium, PEPPOL has been the standard for electronic invoicing to government agencies since 2019, and more and more companies are voluntarily joining.
