The Accounting was set up first within Odoo. All financial processes are centralised in one environment, with real-time insight and support for e-invoicing.
Sales/Purchase
Quotations, sales orders, purchases and invoicing follow one integrated flow, fully aligned with the project-based operation of Mervers.
HR
Employee data, leave and time registration are centrally managed, ensuring overview and administrative efficiency.
Belgian family business
Mervers is a Belgian family business with over 50 years of experience in designing and building industrial mixing installations. Mervers' solutions are used worldwide in various sectors, including the food industry and process industry, where liquids and raw materials need to be mixed and distributed accurately.
Over the years, the IT landscape had grown organically. Processes were largely supported by Excel and SharePoint, with various automations and connections. This approach increasingly ran into its limits: collaboration became complex, reporting was fragmented, and processes such as sales, inventory, purchasing and project tracking were insufficiently integrated.

Phased approach to all-in-one ERP solution
Together with Obycron, Mervers chose a phased implementation of Odoo as an all-in-one ERP solution. In the first phase, the Accounting and HR modules were set up, including employee management, leave registration, timesheets and attendance. This immediately provided a stable foundation and prepared Mervers for legal obligations such as e-invoicing.
In a second phase followed Sales, Purchasing and Invoicing, where quotes, sales orders and invoices are fully managed from Odoo. Today, the foundation is ready to further expand into Inventory Management and Production, tailored to the highly customised products of Mervers.
The customisation remained deliberately limited. Only specific adjustments to documents, numbering and a few integrations with SharePoint were implemented, so that the solution aligns as closely as possible with the familiar working methods of the employees.
