What is an Odoo Gold partner?

Odoo classifies its official partners into three levels: Ready, Silver, and Gold. Gold is the highest. This status cannot be purchased: Odoo grants it based on strict thresholds, reassesses it every year, and publishes it in its own partner directory. If a company is not listed as Gold there, it is not a Gold partner.

These thresholds relate to three things: how many new Odoo Enterprise users a partner brings in per year, how many certified consultants they actually employ, and how many of their customers remain.

Gold Partner requirements

The thresholds per level, as published by Odoo in the partner programme. The current status can always be found at odoo.com/partners.

Belgium has over one hundred and thirty official Odoo partners. Seventeen of them achieve Gold. Obycron is one of them, and that status is reassessed every year. What you read on this page is therefore valid today and not ten years ago.

80%

Minimum customer retention. This is the most important thing for us and our customers. A partner who loses customers simply drops back down to Silver. So ‘Gold’ doesn’t just mean that a lot of projects have been completed, but above all that the customers from those projects have stayed with us..

What does an Odoo partner actually do?

Odoo provides the software, an Odoo partner ensures it fits your way of working. This goes beyond installing and ticking a few apps. As a certified Odoo integrator, we take on the entire process.

consulting services

  • Analysis and advice

We map your processes, determine which Odoo apps you need, and calculate the ROI before you spend anything.

  • Implementation and configuration

Setting up Odoo tailored to your processes, with as little customisation as possible so that you don't start over with each upgrade.

  • Data migration from your current system

Our specialty: migration from your current ERP, preserving your history.

  • Integrations with your other systems

MES, WMS, accounting packages, webshops, e-invoicing via Peppol and custom integrations via API.

  • Training and adoption

Role-based training, on-site or online, so your people can use Odoo effectively and not work around it.

  • Support, SLA and version upgrades

After go-live, we continue to maintain and update your environment, with guaranteed response times.

Odoo for your sector

An ERP project succeeds or fails based on industry knowledge. That’s why we work with a developed approach per sector, including the processes you want to improve: manufacturing with BOM structures and make-to-order, field service with work orders and mobile planning, maintenance with preventive maintenance and asset management, engineering, wholesale, retail, IT & software and the public sector.

Ask us your question

These are the questions on which an ERP project stands or falls. Our answers are right there, because you’d rather hear them now than halfway through the project.

Who is actually on my project?

You will get names and their certifications before you sign, plus the projects they have done before.

Will those people stay until after go-live?

Yes. One point of contact from analysis to post-care. That is the reason our clients stay.

Do you have cases in my sector?

Met 90 succesvolle projecten achter de rug kunnen we veel relevante cases voorleggen.

How much ERP customisation do you do?

As little as possible. We build on standard Odoo and justify every exception with a business reason and a cost.

What happens after go-live?

Hypercare in the week of going live, then an SLA with guaranteed response times and a support team that knows your file.

What does it cost, and will I know that in advance?

After the analysis, a conclusive budget, planning, and a defined scope will be on the table. Transparent reporting on progress and budget throughout the entire process.

About the Odoo partner level

Frequently asked questions.

The highest of the three official Odoo partner levels. Odoo awards it based on the number of new Enterprise users that a partner brings in annually, the number of certified consultants employed, and customer retention. The level is reviewed annually and is publicly listed in the partner directory on odoo.com.

The thresholds increase significantly. Ready requires ten new Enterprise users per year and one certified consultant. Silver requires 75 and three, with at least 70% customer retention. Gold requires 300 and six, with at least 80% retention. That last figure is the most important: at Gold level, four-fifths of your customers must remain, year after year.

Because the three things that derail an ERP project — an incorrect scope, too much customisation, and weak adoption — all require experience that you do not build up in one or two projects. Gold means certified capacity, a team that provides continuity, and clients who remain after go-live. For a project that you will work on for years, that is the difference between a system that grows with you and a system that you have to redo within three years.

Belgium has over one hundred and thirty official Odoo partners. Seventeen of them are Gold. It makes sense that Belgium has such a dense partner market: Odoo is a Belgian company.

Look up the company in the partner directory at odoo.com/partners. There you will find the current level, managed by Odoo itself. A partner cannot assign themselves a level there. If the claim on a website does not match the directory, then you know enough.

Yes. You can find us in the official Odoo partner directory at the Gold level. We are a Belgian team of 18 Odoo experts with offices in Kontich, Ghent, and Aalst, and more than 90 clients.

We have a developed approach for eight sectors: manufacturing, field service, maintenance, engineering, wholesale, retail, IT & software, and the public sector. Within that, there is also the heavier material such as MES connections, make-to-order, and asset management. If your sector is not listed, just give us a call: there is a good chance that the processes are similar.

That depends on your scope: the number of users, the number of apps, the data migration and the integrations. You pay the licence directly to Odoo, with us you pay for the guidance. We work with three starting points — Quickstart, Growth accelerator and Enterprise integration — and after an initial conversation, we provide a realistic range instead of a figure that later turns out to be incorrect.

An Odoo partner guides the entire process: analysis of your processes, configuration and implementation of Odoo, data migration from your current system, integrations with other software, training of your employees and support after go-live. Odoo provides the software, the partner ensures it aligns with how your business operates.

That depends on the number of apps, the number of users and how much data needs to be transferred. A defined setup on standard Odoo typically takes a few months; a project across multiple departments with integrations and migration takes longer and often goes live in phases. After the analysis, there is a plan with concrete dates on the table, no estimates afterwards.

Yes, we do that regularly. We start with an audit of your current environment: configuration, customisation, usage and pain points. What works, stays as is. We tackle the rest step by step, without halting your operations.

Those are exactly the migrations we specialise in. We carry over your history, convert your processes to Odoo logic instead of rebuilding your old system, and keep your operations running in the meantime.
