Odoo presented Odoo 20 at Odoo Experience 2026 in Brussels. The common thread: AI is now in every app and is included in your subscription. The interface has also become faster, and processes run automatically from quotation to accounting. Here are the highlights.
🤖 AI is everywhere, and you don't pay extra for it
- AI agents take over routine work: prioritising helpdesk tickets, following up on orders, sending stock alerts, SEO and document analysis.
- Reports and dashboards on demand: you ask a question in plain language and receive a pivot, a graph, or a real-time dashboard with alerts.
- MCP connection: you connect external AI models to Odoo without extra setup.
- Because all data is in one database, the AI has the full context of your business.
⚡ A faster, fresher interface
- A new look with rounded elements, new icons, and micro-animations.
- You switch faster between list, calendar, pivot, and map views.
- You can continue working offline: once you are back online, Odoo synchronises automatically.
- Discuss gets polls, meetings, and WhatsApp.
🌐 Website and e-commerce
- AI builds a brand identity, a colour palette, and the texts for your website in just a few seconds.
- Product photos are automatically enhanced and the search function also searches variants.
- Click & collect checks the stock and allows the customer to choose a collection date.
📞 CRM, sales and telephony
- Forecasts with AI, where you can always check where a figure comes from.
- Lead generation: you filter from more than 500 million companies, recognise website visitors, and scan business cards.
- Odoo Phone, a built-in VoIP solution: you buy numbers, build call menus with drag-and-drop, and receive recordings and transcripts.
- New quotes: you work with section templates and quantities per section. The price can start from your desired margin, there is a stock indication, and you switch with one click between prices incl. and excl. VAT.
📁 Projects and timesheets
- You upload a document and AI creates a project with tasks from it.
- You track margins and forecasts in real-time.
- A new timesheet widget and an AI assistant ensure that fewer hours are forgotten.
- You now register hours, materials, and fixed-price services in one place.
📦 Purchasing, inventory, and production
- AI searches your purchases for opportunities to negotiate better and immediately writes an email to the supplier.
- Min/max stock levels automatically adjust to demand and lead times.
- You can compare bills of materials, plan production on a kanban board based on priority, and the shop floor works entirely with barcodes.
💶 Accounting on autopilot
- E-invoicing via Peppol and a built-in payment button, with automatic reconciliation.
- AI agents book, detect discrepancies, apply the correct VAT, and calculate accruals.
- Consolidation across multiple companies, indirect cash flow, and intercompany comparison, each with drill-down to the source.
👥 HR and payroll
- AI writes job descriptions.
- You see the net and gross salary in real-time while assembling a payroll package.
- Contracts are signed digitally and onboarding is automated.
- In Belgium, Partena Professional takes care of payroll compliance directly in Odoo.
🍽️ POS for restaurants
- An editor for your floor plan, reservations with allergy info, combo deals, and courses that you send to the kitchen per table.
- Customers order themselves via a QR code or kiosk, and Uber Eats and Deliveroo are integrated.
