Bicycle rental for students of KU Leuven
Velo is a social enterprise from Leuven with over 100 employees. The organisation offers bicycle rental, leasing, repairs, and sales of accessories, primarily for students of KU Leuven, but also for other organisations and individuals. Velo combines a strong social mission with a complex operational structure across multiple locations.
Velo worked with a specialised bicycle system that was primarily focused on cash register functionality. It lacked in-depth reporting, complete inventory management, and a central history per bicycle. Many processes, such as contract tracking, repairs, and communication with customers, were manual and difficult to scale.
Obycron provided targeted customisation to ensure that the various Odoo modules are seamlessly aligned.
Every bike, customer, and contract is now linked together. Repairs, rentals, invoicing, and payments are managed centrally. In addition, theOdoo customer portalhas been implemented, allowing customers to perform actions such as renewing subscriptions, making payments, or reporting a theft.
Integrations with KU Leuven have also been established, enabling the digital exchange of data regarding student bikes and repairs.
